Maryland State Police are investigating a car that was shot on I-70 in Mount Airy.
Troopers responded to eastbound Interstate 70 near exit 68 on Thursday night after reports of a car being shot at. They spoke with the woman who was driving the Kia and inspected the car.
After a preliminary inspection of the car, troopers saw the woman had been shot at numerous time, but she was not injured.
Investigators are not sure if the car was targeted, and they are asking anyone with information to contact the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack at 410-386-3001.
