Police were searching for Jones who police say was abducted by two men the day before the fire

Baltimore Police confirm they've recovered the black Ford pickup truck detectives say was used in the abduction of Tiffany Jones Police and they are making "good progress" in finding the suspects.

A friend of Jones, who didn’t want her name released, said she has a young son and daughter who will grow up knowing their mother was found dead inside a building on 7th street.

“I’m still in shock, I just knew her from the neighborhood,” the friend said. “Her daughter played with my daughter. She had a husband and another little boy she loved her husband and her child so much.”

The people that knew her to say she had her issues but she was always a good mother.

Investigators believe Jones was involved in an argument with two men.

During the argument, the men forced her into a black Ford pickup truck and drove away.

“I sleep 3 four doors from where they dumped the body,” said Mars Lambert who lives in the neighborhood. “To know that something that close to home happened it’s not cool.”

Jones’ friends and neighbors saying this is to close to home and the heart.

“It’s gotten so bad around here it’s like I don’t even want my kids there away with relatives for the summer I don’t even want them coming back home.”

The people who live there say this street is supposed to be one of the more peaceful ones in the area.

They would never expect a 29-year-old mother to be abducted and left for dead in the basement of a vacant rowhome.

“She was like tough you know you wouldn’t like this would happen to her. Because she just seemed like a tough girl. It can happen to anybody I guess.”

Police are looking for a black Ford pickup truck with a Maryland tag of 3DH8861.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
