An apartment construction project in Baltimore gets help from an actor from the HBO television series "The Wire."
Wendell Pierce, who plays Detective William "Bunk" Moreland in the show, has partnered with real estate company Ernst Valery Investments to take on the project.
The buildings are being built on East Lanvale Street between North Charles and Saint Paul Streets.
The $20 million Nelson Kohl Apartments will feature more than 100 units.
The complex is expected to open next month.
